Belaroma Café of the Month - Sweet Decadence |
87 Vincent Street,
Daylesford, Victoria.

When
you arrive at Daylesford, amidst Victorian countryside, you have to
visit Sweet Decadence café and chocolate shop. Sweet Decadence
began a little ways down the road in the Victoria Hotel on Vincent
Street, in 1983. It was the first coffee shop in Daylesford and the
first handmade chocolate shop in country Victoria.
Alan and Kaye bought the old building which housed Mrs Locantro's
fruit and vegetable shop, which was built around 1911. As you walk
in you'll notice the homely feel, reminiscent of the old coffee
houses of Europe and the long gone Hilliers in Melbourne. |
As
you approach the beautiful old curve shaped counter your senses
are captured by the mingled aroma of coffee and chocolate. The original
stained glass and mirrored panels add to the atmosphere. Sweet Decadence
proudly serves Belaroma Coffee. The fresh 100% Arabica beans compliment
their fine handmade chocolates. You'll love the full, rich flavor
of Belaroma which, to us, says "Quality".

As
three time winner of the Victorian Tourism Award for Tourism Retailing,
and member of the Victorian Tourism Hall of Fame, Sweet Decadence
boasts the finest individually dipped and decorated chocolates, prepared
with delectable chocolate, fresh cream, dried fruits, nuts flavorings
and alcohol.
When you're next in Daylesford, try some of the delectable chocolates
and rich smooth coffee; you'll love it. |
