Just 1km from the CBD, Spring Hill is Brisbane’s oldest suburb and it is a fascinating area, successfully combining residential living with commercial and professional activities. Locals and visitors can walk the South Bank, the City and the Roma St Parklands, and the shopping is fantastic !

Opening Sisco Café in April 2006 in the heart of busy Spring Hill, Kelly and Vicki Jones have worked tirelessly to develop a loyal following in the area. They cater mainly to the local business people and residents, with their clientele ranging from doctors and business professionals to mums, dads and kids. The cafe has a welcoming, comfortable and friendly atmosphere where staff greet everyone with a smile and most customers by name as well - and they’ve found the secret to making time to chat whilst still providing great service.

Working out of her small kitchen, Vicki (the Chef) turns out outstanding fresh, hearty homemade food including all of the cakes, muffins and desserts on display which fly out the door daily. On the innovative menu there is a range of healthy and appetising breakfast and lunch options plus it is well worth consulting the specials board which often presents some delicious surprises showcasing the best of in season produce.

The Sisco team selected Belaroma Blend 25 for its consistency and great flavour; they appreciate the fact that the thick stable crema makes it easy to work with, producing outstanding results. Kelly, who is a skilled Barista, takes great pride in serving exceptional coffee. Belaroma coffee served at Sisco in Spring Hill, BrisbaneHer perfectly textured milk applied to a carefully extracted shot sees every latte going out with a rosetta on top and each cappuccino with a thick layer of creamy foam finished with a good dusting of chocolate. The perfect extraction can be seen in the long blacks and short blacks served featuring a thick golden crema. This skill and attention to detail is certainly appreciated by the growing numbers of regulars who don’t seem to be able to make it through the day without stopping by (some more than once a day) to get their coffee fix.
