Since October 2004, new owners Megan and Ronnie
Gibbs have transformed the Short Street Store into a café,
creating a relaxed atmosphere that local residents and students
from the nearby TAFE appreciate and enjoy.

This is a really family friendly venue, with convenient street
parking, and in close proximity to a local park – perfect
for taking a break after walking the dog or entertaining the kids.
The café has outdoor bench seating which makes it ideal
for large groups as well as individuals and there are plans underway
to add indoor seating for Dubbo’s crisp winter days.
Megan
is a huge fan of Belaroma Coffee. She has chosen the Belaroma Supreme
blend which has proved very popular, and she makes one of the best
Moccas in town using Belaroma’s yummy
hot chocolate. In addition, she caters to local home baristas by
selling Belaroma’s retail packs - which her customers find
a great way to ensure they can enjoy quality coffee at home.
As well as serving great coffee, the Short Street Store offers
a range of freshly made sandwiches and salads plus hot food, with
traditional favourites like tasty burgers or fish and chips. They
also cater for many local businesses delivering morning/afternoon
tea and lunches.
So next time you are in Dubbo, check out the Short Street Store – you’ll
get a warm welcome and a great espresso !
The Short Street Store is open from
7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and for breakfast on Saturday, 7am
to 1pm.
