Peppercorn Café
Centrally located in the historic Mulgoa Valley lies the Peppercorn Café, a charming heritage building with extensive gardens and a thriving business !

Mulgoa is situated in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, on the Nepean River, half way between Penrith and the Warragamba Dam, and just 45-50 minutes from Sydney. The area is decidedly rural and visitors come to escape the city and relax, checking out local art and craft, the superb views from The Rock Lookout down the Nepean River gorge, or enjoying the many recreational opportunities in the Bent Basin National Park.
Tony and Maria Bordia have owned and managed the Peppercorn Café since 1997 and have been serving Belaroma Coffee since their first day. “We’ve been with Belaroma for nine years – that says something !” laughs Tony. “We selected the Supreme blend and the coffee leaves a great taste you want to keep coming back for; Belaroma’s service and support has always been excellent – I would never use any other coffee”.
The café has a homely environment with meals cooked fresh to order, largely from locally grown produce; the á la carte menu is therefore seasonal, and there is excellent variety for all foodies. Tony and Maria’s staff provide personal and efficient service, looking after the clientele who include locals, tourists, business people and professionals. The business has grown steadily over the years as the word has spread about this rather special café in its delightful setting. They can seat 50 inside the café and 50 outside on the verandah and gardens and are expanding to provide a further 50 seats.
If you’re visiting the area, we suggest you start the day with breakfast at the Peppercorn Café, go off exploring and then return for lunch or dinner. They also cater for weddings and special events and would delight in making your event successful and memorable.
