In the 1960s the Snowy Mountains township of Jindabyne had to be relocated when the Snowy River was dammed as part of the Snowy Mountains Scheme. Since then, new residents and pioneering families have given the place a cosmopolitan feel and the modern town has become a popular holiday resort. In winter Jindabyne is a busy centre for holidaymakers skiing at the major resorts in Kosciuszko National Park and for the rest of the year it's a great place from which to go bushwalking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting and canoeing, horse riding and kayaking, with fishing and water sports on the lake.
In this beautiful township, situated in the courtyard of Nuggets Crossing, you’ll find Lifestyle Jindabyne – a café owned and run since 2004 by Kim Neville.
Kim and her staff are passionate about their coffee and have a very loyal clientele who are pleased that they are !
All year round Lifestyle Café is full of happy coffee lovers: some lazing away the morning over breakfast and their favourite coffee shot, chatting with friends or perusing the magazines; others grabbing a quick take away !
Asked about her choice of Belaroma Coffee, Kim responds: “For me the name says it all ! Bella means beautiful and a beautiful aroma is certainly what you get when you walk into Lifestyle Jindabyne. It’s always a pleasure to open up that new bag of Belaroma Coffee and enjoy the delicious smell of the freshly ground beans as my customers eagerly await their coffee. Belaroma’s coffee machine is very much the central feature in my café !”.
Alongside great coffee, Lifestyle Jindabyne offers patrons all manner of treats: the display cabinet groans with delicious, gourmet creations made by Kim and her staff; and there is also a range of smart giftware on sale - from designer collections to everyday gifts.
