Kenso Café started in January 2003 in Todman Avenue, Kensington, with a new approach to building a customer base.
Ann Jackson had had many years operating a business in the racing industry and decided to open Kenso Café within walking distance of Randwick Racecourse and the many stables nearby. Very quickly she developed a clientele of workers in the racing industry who really appreciate the early opening time of 6 am and the marvellous cooked breakfasts.
In October 2005, Kenso Café moved to new larger premises on Anzac Parade and now caters for all early morning workers as well as local residents and families.
Breakfast is served all day along with light meals, cakes and takeaway sandwiches, plus a special children’s menu. They can also provide catering.
 Ann understands the importance of serving good coffee to complement the food. She has selected Belaroma’s S25 blend and the combination of skilled baristas and great coffee, alongside friendly service and moderately priced meals, has resulted in Kenso Café having a very loyal clientele. “The service and support I’ve received from Belaroma has been paramount in the growth of my business”, comments Ann.
