Juan and Sonia Bravo, owners of the Beehive Café in Beecroft, have grown their business by 60% since they took over in 2003 !

Many factors contribute to their success but certainly the word is spreading about their monthly “food festivals” where (over a Thursday, Friday and Saturday) they offer dishes from different countries along with live entertainment which makes for interesting dining in an exciting atmosphere. Bookings are now essential for these increasingly popular events. Every day, however, Juan and Sonia pride themselves on providing great café food – there are daily and weekly seasonal specials with generous servings and appealing options.

Patrons quickly feel at home in The Beehive’s friendly and welcoming atmosphere and Juan’s staff provide an efficient and personalized service, having been trained to go above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. The spacious interior of the café has a fresh Mediterranean feel and seats 30; and reflecting the pleasant bushland surroundings, there is also a comfortable, sunny, covered area outside with a further 30 seats.
Juan has 12 years experience in hospitality and business management, while Sonia is a chef by trade. “We find our customers really enjoy the Belaroma coffee”, says Juan, who serves Belaroma’s Supreme blend, “and we appreciate Belaroma’s commitment to service and the fact that they can supply us with everything the café needs from a coffee supplier”.
The Beehive Café is well located with easy access by public transport and a convenient car park opposite, and is wheelchair and stroller friendly. It is open for breakfast and lunch from 7.30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, and from 7.30 am to 4 pm on Saturday.
