On Sunday 4 November 2007, a Belaroma Team once again participated in the Sydney to the Gong fundraising cycle ride. They left Sydney Park at St Peter's and rode hard for the 90km via Brighton-le-Sands, the Royal National Park, across the spectacular Sea Cliff Bridge and to the finish in Stuart Park, Wollongong.

Despite starting in rain the weather overall was somewhat more favourable than last year's gruelling conditions; there was no wind and the sun came out as our team approached Stanwell Tops. The event is gaining in popularity and increased numbers made the early stages challenging. The first of the Belaroma team crossed the line in 3 hours 6 seconds - what was the highlight ? "no punctures !".
The Belaroma team raised around $3,000, and the ride in total has surpassed the $1,000,000 mark. MS Australia provides services, programs and research supporting people with multiple sclerosis, their families and carers and health professionals.
